Johnny Unicorn is currently on the road with the Lansing based band “Head and Toe.” Unicorn will be joining them from August 20th to the 31st adding his own flavor on the organ and banjo. If you are currently in the Midwest or East Coast, you should check out a live show and introduce yourself to the prolific Johnny Unicorn. The summer in Northern Michigan is crisp and immediate; the echo of the trees at night, the coyotes, the coating of stars: summer. Returning to Japan will come all to soon. The penetrating sweat, the shrinking streets and horizons will pave the way for fall, for the bleak tide of winter. I welcome these things as I welcome the fresh possibilities, which can blossom out of them. The fresh possibilities of sound creation, of “noise,” of action in solitude.
